We are Anne and Dave, a Husband and Wife team.

We met in 1979 when Dave started working for my fathers’ bakery business. Dave and I started our own bakery and during that time, we were making cakes along side the rest of our products.

Eventually the demand for our cakes had increased so much, after getting up at 4am everyday for so many years, we decided it was time for a change and bespoke home made celebration cakes were our focus!

We searched for new premises and took the plunge!
Opening in The Gates shopping centre in Durham City centre, we stayed there for 5 years!

We then moved to premises on the friendly High Street, Langley Moor and now we are based in Washington!
